 tico Parque Natural. El Barranco del Río Dulce fue declarado Parque Natur
 al en el año 2003. Está situado al norte de la provincia de Guadalajara\
 , formando parte de las estribaciones más occidentales del Sistema Ibéri
 co. Tiene una extensión total de 8.348 hectáreas. Estos espectaculares p
 arajes fueron popularizados por el añorado naturalista Félix Rodríguez 
 de la Fuente\, pues fueron el escenario idóneo para un buen número de su
 s documentales televisivos\, especialmente los dedicados a las águilas y 
 los zorros. Precisamente\, en el término municipal de Peregrina hay un mi
 rador sobre la propia hoz erigido en su nombre\, dónde iniciaremos la rut
 a.\n\n\n\n\nEl Parque Natural está recorrido por una hoz labrada en una p
 aramera cárstica perteneciente al período jurásico. Cuenta con numeroso
 s escarpes de variada morfología\, incluyendo abrigos y variadas formas p
 étreas Varios escarpes laterales o fluviales dan lugar a cascadas\, podre
 mos disfrutar de la cascada en su máximo esplendor.\n\n\nEn los elevados 
 peñascos de la hoz habitan gran variedad de rapaces\, como el águila per
 dicera\, en peligro de extinción\, el buitre leonado\, el halcón peregri
 no\, alimoches\, y chovas pequirrojas. Las aguas claras y rápidas del rí
 o constituyen un hábitat perfecto para la trucha común y la nutria.\nREC
